Program Updates

What was new in 2025?

Each year, Avid aims to try out new things. In 2025, we rolled out our Path to Expeditions Program providing an entry-level program for campers to try out Expedition Programming for the first time! We also joined the Outside Festival in Denver, Colorado

Updates for 2026!

This year, we are excited to roll out multiple NEW and returning Camp Programs in Colorado!

• Colorado Day Camps: Erie (new), Castle Rock (returning), and a brand mew Basecamp model in Aurora, Colorado (details coming soon!)
• *Colorado Expeditions:* Revamping our our Path to Expeditions (now Path to Overnights) Program for a 3-day Expedition week and a new Family Expedition Trip where our parents can join their kiddos for a high-end recreation experience.
• Overnight Camps: Updated staffing structure including more specialized programming for Backpacking Specialists, a 2-track learning and activity breakdown for our Overnight Camp Instructors, a new Clinic Supervisor role to support Clinic operations, and a new Parent-Nurse Program for camper parents to work shorter stints at Overnight and receive free camp in return!

Returning Staff Hiring Process

Step 1: Complete a Returning Staff Interest Form!

If you are interested in working another season at Avid4 Adventure, and haven’t already completed a returning staff interest form, please do that now. Someone from the TA Team will reach out shortly to schedule a check-in over Google Meets (starting in November). We look forward to discussing positions and program options for the upcoming season!
